Anand P Raju a commercial director has brought another flick ‘Gorukana’ that looks in to need of environment, life of Soliga community and their culture besides showing the medicinal value the dense forest possess.

Smt Bhagya Chinnaswamy who made ‘Maagiya Kaala’ and won awards has invested on this subject of Mahadevaswamy that is 67 years old.

The artistic commercial cinema is what Anand P Raju says. He has made research on the subject with the intention of showing the film to all class of audience. He has traveled the deep forest of BR hills at least 200 times for this purpose. The point of ‘Bhoomi Sakkare’ (rare medicinal plant) is also main focus. Soliga tribals have sung for three songs in this film. Artists for the film are picked from Ninasasam, Rangasampada and Rangayana.

Chinnaswamy on behalf of the producer Smt Bhagya stated that this film is filled with novelty and V Manohar has done well in music.
